Prévu pour la célébration des festivités du centenaire, il n‘est finalement inauguré qu’en 1933 et abrite, à cette occasion, la première exposition d’architecture et d’urbanisme. Bâti avec l’entreprise Perret sur un terrain de forme régulière, l’édifice s’organise autour d’un vaste hall carré, couvert d’un dôme à vitraux géométriques réalisés par Marguerite Huré, artiste qui collabora avec Perret pour la réalisation des vitraux de l’église du Raincy (France) en 1925.
